Story Telling

Story telling is basically “Heart and Soul of Education”. The cultural ethnic and linguistic diversity of pacific region gives pacific educators an excellent opportunity to enrich children’s learning. It costs nothing but is enjoyable and can be used anywhere and at any time.

It is important for children to make up stories just as it is important for them to hear and respond to stories told by other people. When children create and tell a story in their own language, the language becomes theirs. Oral language is an important tool for the cognitive growth of young children. It is an effective tool used to convey messages. Story telling is central to our mental process for understanding, remembering and communication. Stories make it easy to learn and grasp. Therefore our school insists on every child’s participation for the betterment of the child.
